There are not many things I miss about Britain. I’ve been in Andalucia, Spain for 6 months and life could not be any better. Ok! bacon butties and a decent cup of tea are top of the list and a visit to 109m x 69m of turf, more commonly called St. James Park, Newcastle is also somewhere up there. There’s just one creature that I miss photographing and one location Red Deer, Lyme Park in the Peak District National Park. While red deer are common here in Andalucia, the topography of land is almost sub-tropical and somehow seems less appealing when photographing this species. So as a reminder here are some of my more endearing images of a very charismatic species.
